Christmas is a much anticipated time for Ogtonganons, and a range of presentations and talent showcase were lined up in celebration of the annual Light-a-Tree & food Festival which ran from December 15-23, 2018. A wide array of events and entertainments, from foods to music, were prepared for the nine-night festivity, giving this celebration a touch of the yuletide spirit.
This year, kick-starting the Light-a-Tree & Food festival is the lantern parade showcasing the artfully constructed lanterns made of recyclable materials from the Barangays & Schools and was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas Tree and the Launching of the Official Website of Oton on December 15, 2018. The Grand Finals of the Hataw sang Barangay provided an exciting atmosphere during the opening program.
