THE VERY-FRIENDLY PROGRAM

The Municipality of Oton has adopted, through an ordinance, the Municipality of Character.  As a complementary program that would strengthen the characters of patience, dependability initiative, humility, generosity, responsibility and cleanliness, Mayor Vicente B. Flores is cultivating the culture of friendliness through the “Very Friendly” Program.        He believes that by putting a small amount of time and effort into making the office more welcoming, existing clients will be happy and their positive experiences can spread by mouth to new clients.

Objectives    :

1. To create a culture of friendliness for clients;

2. To improve service to clients;

3. To strengthen the adopted characters under the Municipality of Character Ordinance.

4. To create a friendly work environment and increase productivity among employees;

The VF Program has the following components/ activities:

1. Conducting a Basic Customer Service Seminar for frontline personnel.

One way of making a good impression about and office is having the right staff to welcome guests and clients. The seminar hopes to equip the frontline personnel with the skills and knowledge in dealing with clients.
